{"id":256577,"date":"2023-05-10T12:42:53","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T11:42:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging4.team99.it\/sistemi-free-flow-il-primo-sistema-di-pedaggio-senza-barriere-in-argentina-e-a-firma-movyon\/"},"modified":"2025-03-20T09:30:20","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T08:30:20","slug":"free-flow-argentina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.movyon.com\/en\/free-flow-argentina\/","title":{"rendered":"Free Flow Systems: new Movyon barrier-free toll system inaugurated in Argentina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">On 9 May,&nbsp;<strong>the new \u201cFree Flow\u201d toll system was inaugurated on the Illia motorway in the City of Buenos Aires<\/strong>, in the presence of&nbsp;<strong>Rodr\u00edguez Larreta<\/strong>, head of the local government, accompanied by other institutional figures, the President of Autopistas Urbanas (AUSA),&nbsp;<strong>Jos\u00e9 Luis Acevedo<\/strong>&nbsp;and Movyon Chief Executive Officer,&nbsp;<strong>Lorenzo Rossi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The solution, initiated by AUSA, the infrastructure operator, and the first case of barrier-free tolling open to all types of vehicles in Argentina, was implemented by&nbsp;<strong>Movyon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The main objectives of the implemented technology include a reduction i<strong>n traffic congestion<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>10.5 km<\/strong>&nbsp;of Illia motorway and a better travel experience for the&nbsp;<strong>93,000 daily users<\/strong>. &nbsp;The system also allows<strong>&nbsp;a reduction in polluting gases&nbsp;<\/strong>equal to&nbsp;<strong>1,154 tonnes of CO2 per year<\/strong>, a key result in terms of sustainability, which can be achieved through the elimination of queues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The system replaces traditional toll booths with a&nbsp;<strong>portal equipped with devices<\/strong>&nbsp;that capture the&nbsp;<strong>license plate<\/strong>&nbsp;of vehicles, detect the&nbsp;<strong>TAG RFID<\/strong>&nbsp;on board and identify their category, recording the passage of the vehicle and allowing the&nbsp;<strong>electronic payment of the toll without slowing down or stopping<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It is an impressive and technologically advanced facility covering a total of 11 lanes equipped with redundant devices.
