Technological innovation is radically transforming motorway infrastructure management, with the introduction of remotely piloted drones<\/strong> for traffic monitoring and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Italy, the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry is growing rapidly, with forecasts indicating an expanding market from 363 million in 2022 to 1.8 billion in 2030. This development has fostered the adoption of solutions such as the BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) drones<\/strong>, which enable fully remote monitoring operations, improving operational efficiency and response to critical situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movyon has implemented the first drone monitoring system<\/strong> on Autostrade per l’Italia sections such as the A26 and A10. Thanks to scheduled or on-demand missions, the drones, equipped with video cameras, transmit real-time<\/strong> data to the Radio Information Centre, enabling rapid intervention in the event of accidents or congestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel, innovation also extends to infrastructure monitoring<\/strong>, with the adoption of advanced technologies for the inspection of bridges and viaducts. The drones, equipped with video cameras and LIDAR, enable high-precision data collection, reducing security risks and improving inspection efficiency. This technology allows access to hard-to-reach places, cutting costs and optimising analysis times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
