Stop&Go
Stop&Go is Movyon’s toll collection solution for lane-based toll plazas, designed to adapt to different station layouts, traffic volumes and operational requirements.
Toll lanes can be configured as fully staffed, completely self-service through Automatic Toll Payment Machines (ATPMs), or as mixed environments combining multiple payment methods. This flexibility allows road users to choose the most suitable payment option while giving operators a unified view of all toll collection activities.
One toll lane, multiple operating models
Staffed toll collection
In staffed lanes, toll operators continue to play a key role in supporting drivers and processing payments. Movyon’s technology enhances these operations by collecting, organizing and validating vehicle and transaction data, making every toll collection process fully traceable and easier to manage.
Staffed toll collection is particularly suited to environments that require a high level of customer assistance, need to accommodate multiple user categories, or are gradually introducing new payment methods without immediately replacing the existing operational model.
Unattended toll collection with ATPMs
Automatic Toll Payment Machines (ATPMs) enable drivers to complete toll payments independently. The user interface guides motorists through each step of the transaction while the lane system validates vehicle information, processes the payment and transfers transaction data to the central platform.
The solution can be configured to support different payment methods, including cash and bank cards, allowing operators to expand self-service capabilities while optimizing staffing requirements at toll stations.
End-to-end control of every vehicle passage
The solution is built around three coordinated functional areas:
Pre-classification, where the first vehicle data is collected as the vehicle approaches the toll lane.
Toll collection zone, where payment processing and all related transaction events are managed.
Post-classification, which completes the verification process and captures the rear license plate, providing additional support for handling exceptions and enforcement activities.
A dedicated lane controller orchestrates all subsystems, generates the transaction data required for toll calculation and payment collection, and ensures information consistency throughout the entire process – from vehicle entry to transaction completion.
A solution that evolves with your infrastructure
Stop&Go’s modular architecture allows operators to configure the system around their existing infrastructure while gradually introducing new payment technologies.
This enables toll stations to be modernized in phases without disrupting daily operations or requiring a complete infrastructure replacement.
By integrating roadside devices, lane controllers and central management systems, Stop&Go streamlines information management and reduces fragmentation across toll collection processes.
