OBU DSRC
The onboard vehicle device enables electronic toll payment through Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) microwave technology, in the 5.8 GHz frequency band, communicating with ground infrastructure antennas through «transponder» communication.
Satellite OBU
The On Board Unit enables toll payment using both satellite technology, by sending geolocation data to the central platform via mobile network, and DSRC technology.
Vehicle localization and route monitoring also allow its use in areas such as emergency fleet management, heavy vehicle tracking, and urban public transportation tracking.
